Market Activity

Market ActivityRemove the NCIB purchases, and the mysterious uptick purchases just prior to the NCIB buys, and ISM share activity is basically nil for the past month or so. Some days with no volume.

Does anyone know what the volume requirements are to maintain TSX listing? I seem to recall that at some point, the company is delisted if trading volumes become minimal. That might be a convenient way to put this dead duck out of its misery. Take it away from the scrutiny of the TSX, and let it bleed out in over the counter oblivion. My guess is the Dream Team will keep the share buy back alive, and come up with some new sensational Inspirational pipe dream to try and stir up interest in this conglomerate. I wouldn't give their efforts much hope, they've shown tremendous talent for shooting themselves in the foot, but not much for adding shareholder value. They've cried wolf too many times. Any bets on management declining cash remuneration and cancelling the ridiculous loss of office agreement in recognition of the poor performance?  My bet is that their busy meeting schedule has included attention to renewing remuneration commitments, and maybe even a few option grants. It seems like remuneration of the dream team is about the only thing mentioned on the agenda lately. The dewatering permit efforts have dried up, and the last indicated release date for a NI43-101 update is only five months past [based on prior efforts, this type of promise is allowed to go two years late].

As Dandy Don used to say - turn out the lights, the party's over. Well almost over, there's still some cash kicking around - maybe the golden parachute can be triggered to handle that last detail.
