At 1.95 a 1 million grant at 1.53 is worth $420K. Not to mention an opportunity cost of 1.5M in cash that could have been had now if the shares were sold in the open market. Thats only for the 1M and they granted over 6M.
Where I come from if a company unexpectedly runs out of cash for whatever the reason the CFO is blamed (right or wrong) and not given 1M in options that immediately vest.
You would think that after screwing around shareholders they would be a little more cautious on this stuff. I hope they are taking heat from the larger shareholders and I encourage everyone to call the company and say how disappointed they are with the new grant especially after the march grant.
I wonder if this bs led to the price cut by RBC.
