He wasn't able to convince MSD's mgmt or BoD of the merits of a deal.
He had to go hostile.
Same with licencing.
He can't cut a deal with anyone material so he always ends up suing them in court, which takes THREE FREAKIN YEARS!
It seems to me that he is a pretty poor negotiator.
Otherwise we would have merged with MSD long ago and be trading in the $20's.
