Rallyemont's Reserves-Increase

Rallyemont's Reserves-IncreaseD and C. Not yet being knowledgeable on how to interpret/read reserve estimates when I compare Sept 30th 2011 to Sept 30th 2010 should I be adding the NPV of the reserves with the contingent reserves to arrive at the total. ( I understand NPVs and all that) An initial review seems to suggest that the underlying quantities and hence values have taken an enormous leap. How does the industry evaluate these numbers/increases. Can one or both of you have a stab at attempting to educate one of the ignorant mass, but a clean one. Thanks for your patience. GLTA
