As for a buyout price, the Andeans and Fronteers were bought out when gold was at a lower price. The majors are cash flow machines now and with record earnings will use that cash to replenish reserves, especially if they believe the POG has much further to go higher. Watch for big premiums for the quality juniors from the majors as they'll do what they can to secure the quality juniors. Probably be some bidding wars.
