I for one agree with management's strategy to have a standby commitment. We are truly in uncharted waters in this economic environment and anything and everything can happen. Why would you want to risk possibly losing the prize over short term share price appreciation, particularly when it is so close. In the end, the price to buyout Cline will be determined by the market at that time. For me, the one positive to take away from the Stand by Commitment is that the lenders clearly see upside in the share price. Just compare the two upsides of the deal, the 10% interest over 2 year term or the 10 mil. max shares if the warrants are exercised. If the share price gets to even $3-4 range, you can see where they see the big profit is going to come from.
