Let's assume Teck back in for 75% and then buys out Copper Fox's portion. Suppose they spend $2B buying out Copper Fox, and then they turn around and sell 50% of Schaft Creek to a major company for $2B. Teck loses 25% ownership, but here is what they gain:

Your rough outline is exactly what I think will happen.  Now what would the remaining properties be worth?  As a premium to the original SC property.  That is pure speculation right now, hopefully some drill holes would prove that up.  But it might be too little too late now.  BFS out soon, then Revised RE following.... maybe. 

Based on the secrecy behind the scenes there could be action coming by year-end.
