RE: Has anyone contacted management lately?Hi all. I'm a new member to Stockhouse here and this is my first post. I am a exploration geologist with about 10 years experience. I have recently worked in Guyana for a Jr. that I will not mention. I have held a small position in GMV since they have been
.30 and have bought until the
.60 average i know hold. As a geologist I know first hand the issues of being in Guyana (e.g. remote camps, corrupt customs, harsh jungle, lack of experienced drillers and assay labs turnaround time). Considering all this there remains no excuse for the lack of quality information coming from GMV. Shareholders have only gotten snippets of information in vague, in my opinion, unprofessional PRs. The only new material on the website in over a year has been a few site photos! The extensive geophysics and geochemical sampling have never been formally presented (e.g. graphics with meaningful interpretations). We haven't even received information as to which property area they are now drilling (bear in mind they have claims scattered all over the country). I am certain at this point there must be assays back from some of the holes. When I was in Guyana ACME assay lab turnaround time was at most 4-6weeks. Regardless of the assay results, they must be accessible by public to comply with Canadian Securities compliance (e.g. "industry best practices"). I've emailed Ian and received the same emails you have..vague dates..promises of results soon to come. I think VP Ex. Doug Perkins is as much to blame as Ian in the poor performance. This company has huge potential with its extensive, proven Alphonso claims. However, I fear mismanagement may lead this to it's demise.
