Canacol Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based natural gas exploration and production company with operations focused on Colombia. The Company’s production primarily consists of natural gas from the Esperanza, VIM-5, VIM-21 and VIM-33 blocks located in the Lower Magdalena Valley basin in Colombia. Its production also included crude oil from its Rancho Hermoso block in Colombia (Colombia oil). It supplies approximately 17% of the country’s gas needs and more than 50% of the Caribbean Coast’s gas demand. The Company operates over 1.5 million net acres in 11 exploration and production gas contracts in Colombia, located in the Lower & Middle Magdalena Basins. Its natural gas processing and treatment facilities consist of three plants.

RE: GreedYes - it would be unimaginable to do another PP. The last one was bad enough, given the circumstances and what was promised.

As long as the reserve replacement ratio stays around 100%, they can look to rake in 100 million + per year at current levels. To raise that kind of cash - even half of that, would require close to 200 million more shares. These guys may be greedy, but I hope they aren't stupid. They could potentially do nothing more than tap into RH for as long as there is oil in the ground, and they'll all be able retire very rich men. However, the fact that they are "agressively (and I use the term relative to what the big players in the region are doing)" pursuing other opportunities gives me a bit of hope that they are somewhat more forward thinking than we are giving them credit for.

Thanks for providing some info on Capella - I was a little unclear why it's been "inactive" over the last 10 months. There was a lot of promise for it that essentially disappeared with the last presentation.
