RE: Any chance of the Prefeasibility being delayedI just spoke with an analyst who covers IC Potash and he indicated the preseasibility study will be filed within one week.
He highlighted:
The completion and filing of a pre-feasibility study will be the next key milestone for IC Potash
Results of the pilot test and the drill results along with detail on environmental concerns and permitting will be contained in the PFS. A positive sentiment in the report, coupled with confirmatory views on current capex and opex, will be a fundamental derisking event and a material catalyst for the share price.
IC Potash announced on October 25 the filing of its Mine Plan of Operations ("MPO") with the United States Bureau of Land Management ("BLM"). The MPO submitted to the BLM provides an in-depth description of the construction, mining, processing, and reclamation operations for the Ochoa Sulphate of Potash project. This report serves as the primary document for mine permitting and will provide the basis for an independent Environmental Impact Statement.
IC Potash Corp. announced a 20% increase in its Measured and Indicated resources for its Sulphate of Potash (SOP) project in New Mexico on October 13 with data received from Gustavson Associates of Lakewood, Colorado revealing an increase over the previous mineral resource estimate of 700.2 million tons to 838 million tons of Measured and Indicated mineral resources. The resources at a minimum five foot thickness indicated grades of 80% polyhalite and 23% K2SO4.
This translates into more than 190 million tons of SOP contained within the ore, which currently sells for $700 per ton in the US.
IC Potash management continue to aggressively seek out a partner to help fund the Ochoa project. Off-take agreements with marketing equity partners, distributors and/or end users are the pathway to monetizing this opportunity creating solid credibility, distribution and credit enhancement facilities to finance this massive resource into production.
