I think this is the first quarterly report in the history of Petrobakken that has been a suprise to the upside. I agree with JohnDD that the employees should be thanked for there hard work and hopefully this will be the start of sustained operational excellence. The most exciting part is that through Q4 and Q1 the weather should be on their side and we can get production up to the low to mid 50,000 boe/d range. If this happens and three quarters in a row come in positive then this stock should be able to get out of the doghouse and get back up to at least 20 dollars, barring a financial meltdown. Once that happens the worries about the convertible debenture decline and we are off to the races. That coupled with the updates from the exploration program and perhaps a sale of the gas assets and the future looks much brighter then it has since this company started. Also this report will hopefully correct the myth once and for all that PBN bought garbage Cardium assets. This frustrates me to no end, the assets are fine they just started from zero and had to build out while fighting declines and the weather. Mistake in guidance yes, mistake in price yes, mistake in asset quality no.
