I think it's a little more complicated than just talking to the FN. They have stated that they will never support Prosperity. And Taseko mgmt has stated that they have tried to engage the FN in discussions but to no avail. IMO, if Properity gets rejected, its not going to be considered again until either 1) there are new people in charge represnting the FN or 2) there is a new company that owns Prosperity and metal prices allows a buffer to allow even more costs to the project (ie. a drastic change in planning).
Do you honestly think new management for TKO would cause the FN to change their mind and start having discussions??? I dont. Just my opinion. No offense intended.
We'll see soon (my guess is in a half hour after US market closes) just how Gibraltor is doing, and there's still Aley so there's a lot more to this company than just Prosperity. TKO will move ahead if needed.
