bullish or not?
bullish or not?I started watching this stock after recieving spam in my email inbox this past summer from Jeff. I deleted the email, then the stock ran up and I recieved another email that said "told you so". So I bought at 1.70 and sold on the way down at 1.55. I continued to watch the stock and rebought a small position on the end of sept dip. All shares under a buck which I feel is a bargain. I know there are likely 6-7 producing wells which is quite reassuring. 100% success rate is nothing to sneeze at.
HOWEVER, It has been my experience that when a company takes this long to report news of its going concern, its usually not good. Not always but i'd say 95% of the time. perhaps POP is going to be one of the exceptions. I'm hoping for steady flow rates and 500-600 BOE per day... but I'm thinking the numbers will likely come out much lower. If we average 50 BOE per well I'll be content. It would only take another 13 wells to bring us to that magical number of 1000 boe per day which is when investors really start to take notice and share dilution becomes a thing of the past because the company is generating steady cash.
I think its possible that one of the main reasons for the length of time between updates is because the numbers, although profitable and worth while, are not what the market is hoping for. I hope this isn't the case but its definitly possible given the nature of venture plays in the past.
I know I'm not the only one who feels this way and that the best thing that could have happened to this stock is that there are a ton of eyes watching it all the time, and POP is on the tip of micro investors tongues, but at this time a large portion of retail investors have to be unsure/unwilling to take the risk untill more information comes out.
Like the rest of you I'm anxiously awaiting results but as more time passes between updates I'm starting to lose faith that this long awaited news release is going to be anything more then pedestrian at best.
