RE: RE: Reasons why I dont like this deal

RE: RE: Reasons why I dont like this dealI normally don't get into pissing contests with others when I have an opinion so I am going to rationally address each of your comments.

"obviously you only invest into junior mining companies on the TSX correct?"

No, I invest around 30% of my equity into juniors (<50M market cap) which include different sectors, different locations etc. I have many larger names in my equity portfolio, but I do not see value discussing them on Bull boards and normally leave it to others to do the grunt of the research.

"This is the time to get getting everything at 50 - 60 percent discount to market!!!!"

I totally agree, FDN is more of a wait and see story now. I find there are lots of spec plays out there, just because I dont like the FDN deal doesnt mean someone with much deeper pockets will come in.

"I cant see the market coming back in Dec."

I agree, my comment re working cap mgmt was the fact they issued so many $$ of flow through, and not enough non flow through, and now need to issue the more dillutive non flow through.

"You call that poor management."

I never said poor management, I said poor working capital management. I quite like the direction this company was heading until yesterdays transaction. I still think management here is great.

"I am not sure about Altos cash position"

All I know is they are below the price at which they could issue a private placement so the funds have to be running low.

"Did you want to wait for the market to get better so that it would cost FDN more money?"

If it cost them more money it likely would have been less dillutive to pay the cash portion. They still could have issued the 10M shares to ATV, the cash portion would have reduced the shares that are going to be issued via PP

"Not sure why you are concerned about dilution"

I now own less of the oz of gold than I previously did that FDN had in the ground. The company is growing its market cap without increasing the price per share

"that has to SPEND  money to move forward with none coming in"

Thats why Im worried about the 100% ownership, they bear all the costs

" I hope you are not anybody's investment advisor during this time."

No sir, I manage my money and my money only.

As I have said before, its only my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own. Im sure if you go back on this BB you can see how much I supported FDN and still think the asset they have is great, the investment has now changed however.
