RE: RE: Do We Need New Management?

RE: RE: Do We Need New Management? delazus, I would love for us to have a max. load in that C-130 every month. Only 45,000 lbs? That's barely over 22 tons. If our standard monthly shipment to Anchorage is 24 'bags' each weighing 1957 lb. that exceeds 45,000 lb. [24 bags x 1957lb/bag = 46,968 lbs or 23.484 tons] I'm also guessing there are pallets that the bags are stored on and at least a three member crew. Our first shipment was 48 bags which was probably two loads. Our latest was 24 bags or one load. A heavy load if the max. capacity of that C-130 is only 45,000 lbs. Does that include fuel? If so then they're WAY over gross on takeoff. I would imagine their stall warning was 'screeching' like crazy. Must be an exciting takeoff. ;)
