RE: RE: RE: RE: $1.12!Yup. But if you want to see a selloff of a stock, wait and see how quickly CUU drops in price when Teck officially announces they are not picking up the option on CUU. The vast majority of people who are holding CUU are holding for a potential buyout by Teck. If that doesn't happen, you will see a lot of investors hitting the sell button. And for those who say that Teck not backing won't matter because another big player or the Chinese will buy out CUU. Good luck with that. Most all of the buyouts in the copper space have been for producers. The big seniors - especially the Chinese - are looking at producers or near term producers for buyouts. If you don't believe me, just look at the copper companies that have been bought out the past 3 years. They've been producers. CUU may likely trade sideways or down for a long time if Teck passes up the option. This is a huge risk, and this is why you have seen a lot of people cashing out and putting money elsewhere. Also, Teck CEO Don Lindsay learned a valuable lesson when it comes to takeovers and buyouts when they bought Foarding Coal. They certainly will not overpay for CUU, so people are dreaming if they think they will get anything more than $2.50 for CUU on a buyout. That's my opinion.
