RE: Rights expire December 6th -> T.AEU.RT Hey, Rob, I assume that you must own AEU.UN and have gotten the rights. I was surprised when I just checked recent transactions in my brokerage account and saw that they'd come in. Do you have any thoughts? I agree that the volatility has created some bargains. Any thoughts on nat gas? I remembered seeing Dean Orrico on BNN some time ago and him saying that he thought nat gas was way under-valued and a good buy. I just looked for the date on Stockchase for when he was on BNN and saw that it was in Dec-2010, almost a year ago. Stockchase paraphrases him as saying, "Natural Gas. He is very much long. Expects market to become aware of limited gas in the latter part of 2011. Prices will start picking up. His portfolios are marginally more gas weighted versus oil and that is likely to increase going in to 2011." We can't get much more into the "latter part of 2011" than we are now. I, too, have been thinking that nat gas was a good buy. I added to my Encana holdings when it was at a 52 week low of $28 not too long ago only to have the bottom fall out and go down to $20 shortly thereafter. I own some COX.UN and just got a whack of warrants from them, though they don't expire until April-2011. In both cases I wonder about the effect of dilution on future share price. If all the rights were to be exercised, which they won't, it would make for 33% more units in the market. It makes me wonder if this is just a grab for some quick cash.
