RE: I thoughtUnfortunately for us shareholders mgt has fallen down on community relations - we have lost - the FNs are huge in BC - BC has the largest population in Canada with a lot of votes and land claims to to settle.
The FN are organized and have a direct lobby right to the PMO and every minister in Ottawa - plus they have all kinds of NGOs who see this conflict as the next Avatar.... They will throw a ton of support at this one...
Shareholders are not ignorant on the issues with FN we know there is a legal duty to consult - which I suspect we also failed on.
How come for the love go god other mining companies are able to work with FN and the guys who work for our company can't?????
Oh I see... yep.... our community relations plan is to steam roll the Natives - that's going to win us tons of public support and approval from Ottawa....
Please tell me where in the last 15 years in Canada a steam roll approach to community relations has worked in favour of a mining against a FN..... Let me check - gee - none.....
I am super pissed about how these guys are screwing things up and they don't seem to care about the long term impacts of the project or the impacts on our share price....
