If Poise was a credentialed professionalIf Poise were a credentialed P. Geo, he would already be in breach of many professional and ethical standards, which would most certainly lead to the loss of his professional credentials. He would also face potential disciplinary action from the exchange and possibly civil and / or criminal action based around attempted stock manipulation and fraud.
He would also be keenly aware that it is common for a company to announce runs from discovery holes upon discovery. In POP's case, the tanks filled in 7 hours, and obviously word worked its way into the market as the stock started going wild. Rather than having the stock halted due to withholding material information from the market, POP put out the 7 hour run data which was later followed up by rationalized data and a normalized flow rate on 10A-15.
Poise bet that this well would be kaput by now but instead it is running stronger than ever.
Poise also made mention that it was being pumped and that he had eyes-on proof of this.
All of these are fraudulent claims and would constitute a serious breach of professional ethics.
Now that POP has a new oilfield underway, Chapman and POP management are proceeding with the highest degree of professional prudence and insisting on a 3 month Initial Production (IP) run before announcing the next set of wells. Especially since Chapman has clearly indicated that the most recent targets are in communication.
This is typical of the industry and considered best practices for a situation of this kind. If Poise were a credentialed professional, he would know this. But of course his claim to being a P.Geo is simply another lie.
I can't imagine what he hopes to gain by attempting to deceive fellow SH board members. It is a shame he takes us for fools and abuses our trust.
