OSC

OSCSo when's the last time the OSC did something that actually benefited or protected Canadian investors?     I wonder why they think they've got some unique right to turn the TRE situation into a witch hunt.   While it's true they haven't done anything to prove their value in quite some time, that doesn't mean they should be dragging on the TRE drama in an effort to justify their existence and satisfy the ego of the new head guy.

The really stupid thing is that there are likely hundred of REAL security frauds out there -- like so many of the moose pasture mineral explorers on the Venture exchange.   How about the OSC look at a few of THOSE plays a little more carefully instead of jumping on the bandwagon with the most hyped up short sellers party on the TSX.    A little analysis and independent thinking would seem reasonable from a securities regulator.   It would certainly be nice, at minimum, for the OSC to elaborate on exactly what they are accusing TRE of.   Three months in, the should have that much figured out.

It seems like instead of going out and doing anything independently, they are sitting on their rumps waiting for independent committee reports to come out -- then they're trying to attack those.   Otherwise, you would have expected the OSC to provide some level of detail and independent information about the nature of their investigation -- especially since they are supposedly serving the public and therefore supposed to be somewhat transparent.   I just hope these chumps finish according to their timeline instead of holding investors hostage while they satisfy their big, pompous, bureaucratic egos.
