RE: Forgot to Mention

RE: Forgot to MentionTotally agree. 310 Meters at 1.87 Grams per Tonne Gold Including 129 Meters at 3.30. With all the news and analyst coverage we should be laughing, but this whole Europe thing has been spoiling our party since last spring. On the bright side today was a bloodbath in the US and Canada with Gold down 3%--and little GCU held up better than a lot of the big dogs https://www.kitco.com/stocks/companyname_asc.html

Yes, the 43-101 will be a major milestone, and I'm hoping for a surprise on the upside, but this is just the first resource estimate and then there's the PEA. When you compare GCU to other companies you have to consider a number of factors, not the least of which is potential. Very few exploration projects ever become mines--and this one is on the top of people's radar because of what they see. By last summer the team had already shown enough, IMHO, for one to easily extrapolate a resource big enough for a mine. (Did you notice the release talked about condemnation holes, which means they're trying to find flat land that's not sitting on top of significant gold to put mine infrastructure...and to their credit, they knew where to look...they're so good they not only know where to find gold but can find where it isn't). What's more exciting is that this will be just the first resource estimate under the new geo team's tenure and there is much more exploration to be done. If you haven't seen Dr. Henning's interview with Jay Taylor on "Face the Analyst" from last February (before the big run up from winter results) you should watch him try to contain his enthusiasm for the potential size of the deposit. If I recall correctly, and I should watch it again, when pressed by Taylor to estimate the resource size of the resource he not only says the current drilling covers what he thinks is only a small fraction of the total resource, I think he actually says Springpole has "district potential."

As always, today shows that opinions, including mine, don't matter when the larger world doesn't cooperate.. Do your own DD. Fingers crossed that Germany will let the ECU will do something big very very soon. If they start to print money to monetize the debt, which is probably their only option, things could turn on a dime.
