RE: musical shares

RE: musical sharesVanchester,

It is entertaining, isn't it.

That dance we've been watching must be a variation of the old Howe Street Shuffle, now practiced by some of the lesser lights that have moved East - I think they might call it the Bay Street Bounce when its performed around the big tables in the centre of the universe [as sweatman the shill used to say].

Speaking of sweatman, he's a long time participant in the Howe Street Shuffle. Sweaty and some of his cohorts still practice all the steps and fancy footwork - and they still know how to get out and not be left standing when the music stops. Rumour is that sweatman now publishes a monthly review of some of the hotter speakeasies he recommends to those addicted to tripping the light fantastic.

The BCSC and other authorities has taken exception to this form of song and dance - some of the players have been banned from selling tickets for admission to the dance hall - they often then go out and get "honest" employment as CEO's.

Anyway I think this Bay Street Bounce we've been watching is too penny ante for the OSC or TSX to worry about - they've got bigger fish to fry.  So the game of musical shares will go on until there's no money left to pay the orchestra.
