I think you'd have to be crazy to short Petro Vista at 6-7 cents, but somebody or somebody's computer did it anyway. So if there's one thing I've learned, it's that I've got no idea what logic or trading algorithms are in play on the market.
Let's say there's still 750K shares shorted. It means somebody potentially bought in anticipation of news. Then that makes it two triggers in the pipeline: short covering and news. If not, there one trigger: good news sometime in the future. I say that because I've got a hard time imagining bad news coming next - I don't see what could possibly get worse for the company than it already has with botched wells, natural parks, floods, and so on.
