RE: RE: RE: Shorts

RE: RE: RE: ShortsHi AYLI, I am sure you thought this through from every angle.  I may have missed something with my initial plan.  I am not saying your analysis is incorrect; it is probably that I have missed something.  What I advocated was:

a) all holders put up their shares at a price well above market price. ie. $1.15 when we are trading at 0.50.

b) this starves shorters of shares ( yes I do agree that is won't stop naked shorting... but a rise will be incredibly painful for the naked shorter)

c) as price rises we raise our sell orders.... always out of reach of the current market price (kind of like the reverse of a trailing stop) ... all the while starving the shorters of shares.

I think you were assuming that the shares would be for sale near market price; in which case you're very right.... we would have a huge overhang but I don't see that happening if we are putting our orders far enough out of reach thus avoiding a whipsaw.

As an aside I used that great link that dollpartz gave us to see short interest.  After some calculations I figured out that we have the same short interest as Microsoft.  I used it to compare to a company I used to have shares of Noront Resources symbol NOT.  Noront's short interest was about a tenth of ours in SLX.  Anyways, thanks for reading and it is great have everyone involve in this exercise in critical thinking; we may not always agree on everything but we will always agree on our main objective of seeing this great company fly and it's share price with it.

Cheers,

Bruchaw
