RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Q4 production report

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Q4 production reportAgreed that I would have preferred to know this information on a timely basis, especially, as you point out, the company had that info last quarter and should have it by now.
However, rememeber that their pricing agreements are forward priced while their copper agreements are backward priced (based on future future reference prices of copper) and that the Q4 and hence annual results are audited results. I understand to a degree why this takes some time and historically that is when the results have released so the company is not doing something unusual by not releasing the production figures.
That said, it would be nice to have more info and on a more timely basis, especially if you wish to shore up investor confidence and hence the stock price.
Remember though that their biggest resource is the undeveloped Mactung Project and that they are still cash starved for the development of that. They are a potential takeover target and low stock prices, i believe, favour that scenerio vs. joint venture undertakings. The committee looking into strategic options for the development/disposition of that resource may be mindful of that, but if production and operations at Cantung are on track then investors need to decide where they put their money. How much lower or higher could this stock go?
I guess my point, for current of potential investors, is to read the info avail in their filing and make rational investment decisions based on that info as well market actions and info.... I've always found your ( Telemarker) posting of the latter info very interesting and helpful.
