PIMCO New York Municipal Income Fund III (the Fund) is a non-diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to seek to provide current income exempt from federal and California income tax. Under normal circumstances, the Fund invests at least 90% of its net assets in municipal bonds which pay interest that is exempt from regular federal, New York State and New York City income. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in investments, the interest on which is subject to the federal alternative minimum tax. The Fund also invests at least 80% of its net assets in municipal bonds that at the time of investment are investment grade quality. Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO) serves as the Fund's investment manager.

Downtown I agree  with you.  I expected that results in the Q3.  But you have made some very good projections.

I can afford to hold this play because my average price is low.  Truly I feel sorry for some of those new investors who came in at the 0.17$ price level.  This stock is worth much more that that and what we are seeing is a paper writedown.  It becomes a loss only when it is sold.  Some people may be selling to capture their capital loss positon.

I declare that I will be purchasing at these levels but I sorrow for those who sold their position.  I don't like to make money on the stupid decisions of others.

It is time for Andrew and his team to start giving shareholder value to this investment.  Any move to reverse split at this moment is ill advised.  But who knows, they may do just that.  Then I will know for certain that we are dealing with idiots.
