Frankly, the US could have defeated the rebels back in the '90s just the same as achieving security in Afghanistan and Iraq quicker if not for political interference. Of course none of this matters as we are hundreds of kilometers to the north and even in production with a rail line the Somalians don't have the tactical capability to effectively strike targets. Sadly all that they do is slaughter their own people...the fact that you and others use that pain and misery for personal financial gain actually is sad and pathetic.
