I'd have to go back and check again but I'm pretty sure that the area that was to be affected bordered the Clearwater West area but didn't actually impact the zone that was to be developed. I haven't gotten the sense from anything that I've heard or read that AOS is in any serious danger of not being able to move forward in Clearwater....but have just seen a couple of delays on the pilot app that has obviously frustrated everyone who had hoped we'd have approval by now.
In a worse case scenario, if CW was declined by the government, AOS would receive compensation to add to the 27 million they have in the bank and even if it were under market value, it would still be significant. At that point, the company would have to take a hard look as to whether or not it's even worth continuing on with their other properties. Either way, the current market cap would be a fraction of the company's cash balance. I honestly don't see this happening anyway.
