I was at Hard Assets in SF this past weekend. The buzz at the Rye Patch Booth was intense. The conference was well attended with savvy investors, not just people looking for candy.........Just yesterday...."Nevada's Top Ten Exploration Projects for 2012 -Coyner........... Although Nevada mining claims have not increased proportionate to the price of gold, NDOM Administrator Al Coyner says the state continues to be in the biggest gold mining boom "ever'.Author: Dorothy Kosich.....................................................Posted: Thursday , 01 Dec 2011............................................RENO, NV ----------------------- It was standing-room only Wednesday morning as Nevada Division of Minerals Administrator Alan Coyner unveiled his annual divination of his own personal Nevada Top Ten Exploration Projects List before a large crowd of mining and exploration professionals attending the Northwest Mining Association meeting in Sparks, Nevada.And, as he does every year, Coyner warned would-be investors in the crowd to never rely on the investment advice of government geologists who, basically, have to live on a government salary............................Coyner proclaimed Barrick Gold's Red Hill/Goldrush gold discovery's on its Cortez property in Eureka County as Nevada mining's story of the year. It ranked sixth on the list.................... AND>>>>>>>>>>>> Last but not least on Coyner's top ten list is Rye Patch Gold's Wilco gold and silver project, located in Pershing County. Measured resource is 146,701 gold ounces while indicated resources are 478,816 gold ounces......................Ya so RichieRich like Wilco..... seems I am not alone...........Drill holes are now taking 8 weeks.... the weather is holding up so everyone is still drilling in Nevada...........everyone at the show was waiting for results. Lincoln Hill drilling was completed Monday and the rig has moved to Gold Ridge............... One thing you have to understand, Bill Howald is a thorough guy, Rye Patch conducts drill PROGRAMS and will release news once it is all back from the assay house and worked into the model and understood..... EIGHT WEEKS for assaysd........... They also did an intense DD on the Patty Project in the last few months, lots of data to rework over this 15 Sq Mi. They have been busy.... they are not playing games........I hear no talk of a take over.....the talk is full of excitment that the company has a new and very prospective ground, ground that has historic drilling that matches grade and thickness of Red Hill/Goldrush.....but without the current model of the Cortez Trend, the dots remained unconnected..... Rye Patch will connect the dots IMO.... they are the smartest guys in the room AND have 5 years....... When I asked Bill about the GGP results.... his reply was that he feels Rye Patch is already a winner at GGP, they found the right rocks with mineralization just where they thought they would.
