RE: PRICEpetroleum has been performing well of late and climbed past the US$100 mark once again,
the junior oil sector has not followed suit. We’re entering tax-loss season, which explains part of it.
But the stocks are underperforming the benchmark also because investors are jittery about equities in general.
Unfortunately, we believe that in the near term it will only get worse. If juniors are trading like this at US$100 oil, how bad will the market be at US$60, or even US $30 oil like we saw at the end of 2008?
