RE: News Due...
RE: News Due...Repost... but relevant for anyone new attracted to us by flirting with new 3 year highs here yesterday and today... on volume...
Facts... PDG is due to release 1. updated PEA (before and of November) and 2. exploration srill assays. re: 1... After more than doubling the resource number from summer infill drilling and the strength of the existing Magino PEA, it is hard to imagine the pending PEA will not be anything but impressive. Higher-resource, optimized pit design, lower strip ratio, positive milling tests, etc. have all been confirmed since the orignial PEA. With the increased resource the new PEA should get market attention IMO. Could be exciting. re: 2... There have been 1000s of meters of exploration holes drilled but no assays have been released to date. The only recent and most revealing reference to these results was in the updated resource number NR:
"Drilling in the Lovell Lake area, 400 metres west of the Magino gold deposit, intercepted a zone of gold mineralization similar in grade and geologic setting to the main Magino gold deposit. Although not included in the current Magino gold resource estimate, Prodigy believes further exploration in this area can augment the Magino gold deposit and potentially become a source for additional minable resources for the project."
Not really sure how to interpret this statement. Could be very positive (i.e. 'We have possibly found another mirror deposit just North of Magino) but if so, then why not say 'assays pending'? Or could be intrepretted negatively (i.e. we have found indications something may be there but thus far we have found nothing worth reporting or nothing worth releasing assays or even mentioning assays). Hope for the former but PDGs history when it comes to no news re: assays would indicate the latter. We'll see I guess.
Either way news should be coming soon and I do like to see the number of analysts now on board and who seem to be supporting/accumulating position on the public market. Maybe that is an indication of what to expect going forward? Hope so, it's been a long road.
