RE: Vote AGAINST this financing...How can I vote against the Mengapur financing deal if I don't have the voting package (yet). When did You receive it in the mail? Actually i am altogether against the Mengapur Project> Aside of it being a non arms length seetheart deal of a bus friend (partner) of J Baldock the whole project does NOT sound worthwhile to me. A relatively small open pit polymetallic (porphyry?) low copper project at less than 8 000t of ore being processed per day is mickey mouse. These types of deposits are either too small to bother with (like this one, ?) or are huge, calling for at least a 30K T p d operation esp since the copper values are quite low. I wouldn't even consider to add pyrrotite roasters, roaster offgas handling equipment and acid plant and from it a phosphate fertiliser facility downstream. Way too ambitious for this kind of deposit and likely not of suitable scale (far too small). Sulfide roasting is dirty business from an environmental point-of-view. Where is our expertise in this field? The capital investment for such a project is huge, thus requires economies of scale. I think it is a harebrained idea altogether. Why does J Baldock come up with such ideas? What are the motives behind here? I don't trust the whole concept at all. Let this one go and concentrate on increasing our Au mining business. Besides why has noone else picked up Mengapur if it is sucha hot deal for 60 K (or is it 70K)?
