RE: RE: RE: RE: So now what? Actually, I have a solution for all this market manipulation! What IF companies were allowed to buy shares back at any time and without any announcements? Why the heck are they now required to announce their intentions? Suppose that I am CEO of WND.. I know that the fair value of may company is $5 per share, and I have 50 mln. of floating shares.. so I know that the value of my company is $250 mln... the stock price is only $1.80 though, so I buy back 10 mln. at, say, $2.00 per share.. and I end up with 40 mln. shares floating and the value of $250mln - 10mln.x$2 = $230 mln... the fair price of the stock then becomes $230 mln/40 mln. shares = $5.75 per share.. would any of us complain about this??? Anyways... my prediction is: as soon as Windstar starts making some income, we'll pop up to $ 2.10.. after that, if there is no news for another month or two, we'll be back at about $1.90-$1.80.. hmm.. or if you take market manipulation into account, we'll probably pop up to $2.30 and then will be down to $1.60...
