Smack Down!!!

Smack Down!!!Wow, what a smack down...you can just sense the fear in the air when it comes to the commodity sector, gold/silver included. To add insult to injury, Roubini taunted the Gold Bugs earlier today when he Tweeted “Gold at a 7 weeks low down to 1635. Where is 2000 gold dear gold bugs?” Such a notable character in the world of economics, it seems to me a little bit childish for him to pop off like that. But oh well, he did what he did and his remarks pretty much summed up the day...fear and panic on one end and boastful, I told you so deflationary blabber on the other. I'm looking forward to revisiting Mr. Roubini’s "tweet" a few months from now...we’ll see where things stand then. Not able to swim upstream, Silvercrest was taken out back behind the woodshed today and spanked mercifully as well, trading as low as $1.72 at one time. Throwing fundamentals and technicals out the window and instead focusing on Cyclical Analysis, which I like to do on occasion, I’ve been anticipating December 16, 2011 to be a pivotal "turning point" for Silvercrest. "Turning Point" could be positive or negative, depending on how you're positioned and which way things go. Not making any forecasts, just interested in seeing how things work themselves out going forward. With that said, my bets are on the long side, not the short. Has anyone noticed that Goldcorp controls the surrounding properties around La Joya??? Have you wondered whom Silvercrest got the “Historical Drill Results” from awhile back??? Pretty sure it was Goldcorp and I bet they are watching closely how things progress at La Joya. Just thinking out loud, trying to piece together how this all plays out in the end. Time will tell but for now, everybody is bearish, scared silly and running for the hills...wish I weren’t tapped out at the moment, what a great time to buy. BTW...spot silver is at $28.20 and Gold is trading at $1565 as I type, sure feels like capitulation to me. Looking forward to tomorrow and as I mentioned earlier, Friday the 16th is definitely a date I'll be watching. Cheers! Scott
