RE: Calm before the Storm

RE: Calm before the StormYes, very quiet trading this week. I recall last year, on the very  last day, a volume spike of 4.36 million shares were traded. Back then it may have not seemed like a big move but the stock got away from the 1 cent level and  crossed above the 2 cent level. Two months, later the stock spiked with a weekly volume of 35 million shares.

In May 6.5 cents was reached. But since then, it's back to 2.5 cents. And 2.5 cents appears to be a support level.

Ths high volume spikes propelled the stock beyond an established resistence level, which in turn becomes a new support level. The next resistence level could be at 4 cents. The two big volume spikes passed this level for a while back in Feb and May. Sept 20th and 27th saw the stock just reaching 4 cents before retreating.

Out of curiousity, will there be a year end volume spike this year? And will the stock get beyond the 4 cent level for good in 2012? Volume spikes have to happen to make it happen. The volume spikes in late 2010, and a few during 2011 came without any news.

Good looking financial statements will have to provide the fuel in 2012 and beyond.
