HEMISPHERE GPS' ENHANCED G100A PROVIDES AGCO DEALERS WITH A PLUG AND PLAY AUTO-STEERING SOLUTION
Hemisphere GPS Inc. has made available the G100 all-in-one guidance and steering system for agriculture machinery. G100 compatibility has been expanded to work directly with all AGCO, Challenger and Massey brands of Auto-Guide Ready tractors and combines.
The rugged and portable G100 mounts on the roof and connects directly to the ISOBUS CAN port, making use of the existing AGCO in-cab terminal. The custom software application within G100 automatically communicates with the machine and immediately displays the startup and operational functions on the screen inside the cab. G100 uses Hemisphere GPS' patented CrescentAtrademark receiver technology and tilt compensation to support parallel, pivot and contour farming. It is an ideal solution for spraying, spreading, seeding, harvesting and tillage applications.
"The G100's plug and play design makes it very simple for AGCO dealers and operators to add guidance and automated steering to a variety of Auto-Guide Ready machines," said Jim Chinnick, Vice President of OEM Business Development at Hemisphere GPS. "G100 eliminates the need for farmers to have additional unlock codes, another terminal, ECU or cabling in the cab."
Standard GPS messages output from G100 provide positioning to external devices such as yield monitors and spray controllers. G100 customers experience improved farming efficiency, more uniform applications, less driver fatigue and extended hours of operation.
The Hemisphere GPS G100 is available in North America and Australia through authorized AGCO dealers. For more information about Hemisphere GPS and G100 please visit www.hemispheregps.com.
