RE: from the technical report:Using Your figures except for 6000$/T for Cu but also 1500 $ /oz for Au and 30$/oz for Ag I came up with the following numbers:
30500 T / y of Cu concentrate 22% Cu, 5g/T Au and 60g/T Ag, I calculated:
40 M $ for Cu, 7.4 M $ for Au and 1.8 M $ for Ag for a total of 49.2 M $ not taking any cost into consideration nor any % yields. If the metal value per annum is only say 50 M $ the cash flow would be perhaps 1/3 of that so 13 or 14 M $ /Y
And that should be a worthwhile undertaking???? You must be kidding !!!
The iron ore values given at at 37 $ /T of beneficated Fe ore was only about 1 M $/ y as given by the extraction of 25 KT of raw iron ore (42% Fe) valued at 37 $ / T for a total of 925 000 $ for the 12 mo from June 2010 to May 2011
Downstream "dreaming" of an acid plant and bringing in phosphate rock and converting it into phosphate fertiliser I left out. The same goes for sulfuric and phosphoric acids.
Now for this you'd like to spend say 300 M $ ???? Well def not me !!!
