RE: RE: Who is the buyer?I wouldn't like a buyout offer from Crescent Point. They would have to borrow money or pay in shares. They payout profits to shareholders, borrow money if needed and have a large inventory of drilling locations. There shares would drop $10 and the div would be cut in a large buyout deal. Have only 70K BBLs/day prod. Even a merger with Coral Hill would be preferred.
I think ARN could find another White Knight that is looking for a company that can be a big producer of light crude oil. Remember "BEST IN CLASS--95% LIGHT OIL/ 5% GAS". The bigger the deal the better IMO. How about Husky?
