If their strategy was to go after lower grades while the price as high, that is a horrible one....
Rules:  1) Cash now is always better than cash later, especially is uncertain environments  2)  Greater production at higher prices equals more cash.  Ex:  100k oz in 2011 @ 1700 & 150K oz in 2012 @1400 = $380mil versus 150k oz in 2011 @1700 & 100 oz in 2012 @1400 = $395 mil. $15 mil difference - that's a few dollars in revenue...
