RE: Hope 4 the best, plan for the worst

RE: Hope 4 the best, plan for the worstGreat title for your post!   Today I decided to close out some positions and raise a considerable amount of cash for the Xmas season and into 1st quarter.  I have a large cash position waiting for the games to play out in Euroe and with Gold.  I kept all my HRG stock though.  Not because I like what Mordy is up to.  I do not.  But with HRG I think we will be fine.  One thing we have learned is that when the HRG action strikes, it strikes hard and fast and a 50 cent rise could happen in one minute.
I sold all my Ford, GM and other manufacturers at a loss to take some other gains for tax season.   I also closed out positions with every company I thought was not going to rise 10% or more in the next two months.  I kept Disney and Kraft because, well, I think they are a good value, and I kelp my very large position in Billabong, even though I was just wiped out for a 43% loss yesterday alone!  I'll wait a few weeks for a bottom on that and a financing decision and then buy back more.
Anyhow...for those longs that await what happens to Nord, I say this.  We may have seen a good fight on our hands, but this is nothing compared to the fight we will endure in a class action over a long period of time, but eventually we will be paid.  Also, I know that PAST SHAREHOLDERS also will be able to participate as Nord and Severstal have had shady dealings in the marketplace, and they will pay dearly.
We will win, but we will likely take pains before we win.  I for one am here for more than a gain.  I am here for the right reason.  I am here to stand up to Mordy for the right reason.  And, I will be victorious.
If not, I'll just jump on the class-action bandwagon.
