My bet is that Europe does not want the Euro to fail and is sending a message to the U.S.....Stay out of our affairs. We will handle this are own way.

Not true. It's the complete opposite. Europe wants the US to cough up some $$$ to help them out but the US refuses for obvious reasons. Obama has no political credibility left and will surely not agree to it in an election year. However, US banks played a huge role in creating the fiasco in Europe so naturally they want them to help out. And so they should, because if Europe goes down, all those US banks will go down with it.
