Businessweek Article on State of Iraqi Politics

Businessweek Article on State of Iraqi Politics

It seems we are unfortunately entering a particularly trying and fragile period for Iraqi Politics. The long awaited O&G law that in October/ Early Nov seemed that there was a good prospect it may be in place by the end of the Year now looks very unrealistic at this point in time, or in the immediate future.
Hopefully the pressure exerted by the Exxon Deal and other Major entrants/acquisitions in Kurdistan in 2012 will continue to Bolster the KRG's hand in negotiations, we shall see.
In any case, 2012 should be a strong year for WZR in particular with MQ,  K2 and appointment of Garmain Block Partner.
