RE: RE: RE: RE: Boys in the 'hood'. If a BOD member is in conflict, then typically they would abstain from the voting process, and might need to be out of the room for certain discussions. I do not see this as a point of concern. I see the WFE BOD as being very strong and very well connected. If anyone can pull a good deal together for a WIN-WIN then it should be these guys.
Cormark will need to support the bid, but these guys will support any bid since they are sort of like realtors, any commission is better than no commission. Ultimately, the BOD needs to do what is right for the shareholders, and there are some pretty big shareholders that will have a strong say, including SRC.
We are all in conflict of interest in one way or another, simply because we all have something to gain. Overpaying in my mind might fetch north of $15/sh.
We might get something more reasonable which in my mind is closer to 10/sh. Everyone could be happy with that, including the buyer, but I doubt we would get that on the first offer.
