T-Zero - RE: Who's Long? BTW T-Zero, I am not a pumper and I am not a bagholder. I am Long and have been accumulating INT since the Fall of 2009. What blows me away, is that on this BB a poster is apparently either a pumper or a basher, a Long, and evil day trader, or a shorter, and nothing else.
If played strategically, you can successfully be a Long who swing trades without causing an arguable impact to the SP by creating positions of support when required, buying when desired, and then allowing other buyers to get in if they choose to, when you suspect the SP has reached a temporary peak. Everyone is a grown-up and should be accountable for their own decisions, especially if they choose to buy high. Not to mention, trades add to the day's volume. Does this make me a bad person? I believe it makes me an effective investor. I am long with > 95% of my INT shares and will swing < 5% (although that number keeps shrinking as I accumulate). I fully believe INT will reach new heights if not in 2012, then early into 2013. If stating that belief makes you think I am a pumper, so be it.
T-Zero, if you truly are a Long and are going to be at St. Lucia round 2, then you better believe that once, only once, you may accidentally end up tossed in the pool when you least expect it (without drinks in your hands or electronics in your pockets would be assured). I'm sure many here would not object to that occurrence. I'm not saying that I'm going to be the one to do it, but the reality is, you just never know. And these days, it's quite amazing how everything gets caught on video.
My response to TraderXX was multi-layered, to highlight several points. Tzero, if it went over your head, I can't help that. If he was offended, I'm not concerned. His oversized ego can handle it.
Happy Holidays everyone, and I do mean everyone.
