Rumors Genel isn't going to do anyone any favors. Unfortunately for them, Longford are the operators. The first exploration period expires in June and they are required to have completed one well. Longford are behind in capacity payments, aren't financed for their commitment. Genel doesn't want to relinquish money already spent. Could come down to what the KRG will accept... as Genel won't be interested in Longford's negotiated 40% royalty schedule.
