RE: RE: RE: Weird ...HM, Bishop, anyone?

It's possible the corporation decided to act as its own transfer agent to save some jingle ... canceling the third party contract ... but simply failing to fill out some regulatory form that was necessary to make the change kosher with the regulators.

If it was a money issue ... one would have thought this would have been considered and taken into account during the recent small placement.

That small placement in itself seemed to indicate something was afoot with regards to near term funding and /or a deal.

MineralFields have now closed all the 2011 offerings with some particulars still showing a 'to be announced' marker. Maybe they didn't even raise cash for those issues ... that remains to be seen.

I still believe MineralFields could have been tapped.

It's possible the company would have announced such a placement at close on Friday ... however ... IIROC halted the stock before close ... whereby no placement announcement could be put out.

Transfer agents deal with certificates, shares and all that good stuff ... something that a placement would require to have in place ... a transfer agent that is ... to deal with the paper.

It could be that a submission of a placement with MineralFields is what sparked IIROC to halt the stock. At the point of submitting the paperwork ... it could have come across their attention that there was no dedicated agent in place to excute the placement.

It's all speculation ... and I'm not even sure if my interpretation of a transfer agents role is a fair one ... but ... it seems to be.

Nobody could look at this halt and suggest it was a good thing ... except maybe PJ ???
