The North Rankin Nickel Mine produced both ni & cu

concentrate back in the the 1950's-60's with sucess.

Like AEI's "C" ore body it was located at high tide.

The Rankin North concentrate was stock piled all win-

ter and ship out in the summer  to the railhead at Chruchill.

Then Nanisivik and Polaris come to mind; both shipped

out concentrate by the ship load to market.
