Yeah two different problems. The religeous voilence in the north somehow doesn't seem to be a problem for Mart.

If the whole country goes on strike that will cause a problem for anyone doing business there.

Seems a rather drastic move to remove the entire subsidy at once. While it is likely a good thing long term  the short term pain might be too great. Makes one wonder if there couldn't be a compromise here somewhere. Not sure what will happen. I really don't have any insight into Nigereian politics but I would think a gradual planned removal of the subsidy might serve the country better.Hopefully some discussion in the next few days between the unions and the government to avioid a country wide strike.
