Agree with Mac 221- I have yet to see any thing any where, be it in the mainstream press or from the Haida themselves, linking Enbridge in any way with Naikun. There has been steadfast opposition to Enbridge from many communities, not just the Haida, but still support amongst some respected senior Haida towards Naikun. There should be no confusion - these are two different and completely unrelated animals. 

While the referendum results were a disappointment to Naikun supporters, it has not brought out the vehement opposition Enbridge has. While I am not overly optomistic, it is nice to see that harnessing the wind power in the Hecate Strait has yet to be completely written off in all corners.  I will watch with continued interest the proposals for LNG at Kitimat.
