RE: good questions posed
RE: good questions posed I'm also disappointed with the way this stock has done so far in January especially given how other oil stocks and juniors have been doing. But let's face it, this stock is still off the radar of most investors. On any given day it's common to see gaps in trading that last a half-hour or more. That means this stock is fundamentally illiquid and that the "volume" we're seeing is most likely algorithmic trading or some other games.
We will not see a sustained run-up in share price until we get some exposure and see authentic trading volume on a regular basis. I'm not sure what it will take to get the necessary exposure. Obviously a giant field at K-2 would do the trick but hopefully it won't take something quite that dramatic. Perhaps the passing of the oil and gas law and a cooling off of the situation with Iran will take a bit of the "wild west" feeling out of the prospect and allow the stock to get the attention it deserves without the "in very risky Kurdistan" qualifier attached to every analysis someone makes.
The good news is that those who have bought this stock when people are skiddish about the stability of the region will be the ones reaping the huge rewards when the floodgates open and every investor wants in. This is one of the last places on earth with undiscovered elephant-sized oil fields, and WZR has a prime piece of land with proven reservoirs. I'm happy with my position in this stock even if it drifts a bit while the "hot money" chases other things.
